Even though I'm not really trading yet, there's a local trading competition I have registered to take part from. It lasts 4 weeks, the start-up capital is EUR 10 000 and every trading day (20 days) EUR 1000 is added. The entrance to the competition costs around EUR 6 and there are prizes for the best ones. It's not available in English, thus there's no point in giving you the url. However, in this channel of the site I will be talking about my trades that I do there, why I do them and when I do them. Just to move this blog into just a bit more practical level as well.
Additionally, I have also deposited $100 to one forex site (you can find the link from the left side of this site) and I will be trying out forex there. Note that the spread there is 10 pips which shouldn't be that high if you actually wanted to make money. On that account, I don't. I just want to test if I can keep my account at $100 without reducing it. If I can do that with 10 pip spreads then I will be rather happy about myself as this would show I am capable of earning with usual 2-3 pip spreads. Why did I choose this provider? Just for the simple reason that their minimum is $25.
How many posts can you expect in this channel about the stock competition and and also forex? Well, I don't really know, I still don't feel comfortable with actual trading, so possibly not very often, but we'll see...after all, I do want to at least TRY to win the stock competition.
